About the course: this course is based on the personal experience of combat experience and assist staff special forces counterterrorism.

Objectives: to give the student theoretical and practical skills of the initial first-aid in extreme combat, accident or man-made disaster conditions.

Fields of study:

  1. The introduction on the combat tactical medicine according to the special forces anti-terrorism standards.
  2. First aid for injuries and accidents. Clinical signs and first aid for combat trauma consequences of the head and neck.
    • Airway: triple Safara method, protective position, nasopharyngeal tube, Gvidela duct, Combitube tracheostomy.
    • Special groups’ means of individual equipment. Clinical signs and first aid for combat trauma consequences of the chest injuries. Pneumothorax. Occlusive bandage. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Resuscitation (one and two persons).
    • Anatomy and physiology basics of the CCC. Bleeding. Clinical signs and first aid for combat trauma consequences of the limb injuries. Overlay tourniquet on the battlefield.
  3. Wound and pain shocks, polytrauma. Clinical signs and first aid in case of combat trauma consequences of the trauma abdomen, pelvis, internal bleeding.
    • Vital parameters (indexes) evaluation of the wounded in the battle.
    • Bullet wound and mine-blast trauma. Wound assessment and options fixing. Closed head injury. Dismurgiya (bandaging).
    • First aid for burns. Clinical signs and first aid for combat trauma consequences of the trauma of the spine and spinal cord. Anatomy basics of the human skeleton. Immobilization. Transportation.
    • Clinical situation with the cards. Passing the tests. Relay race.
